Full-Time Officer positions are paid and you can either take a year out of your studies to be one or become one immediately after the end of your course. There are four Full-Time Officer positions, each focusing on a different remit within the Students’ Union. Terms of office: 1st July 2024 - 31st June 2025

Part-time Officer roles:
Part-time Liberation Officers are volunteer positions that are held alongside your studies. Each officer represents students who self-identify as belonging to one or more of 4 liberation groups - Women students, BAME students, LGTBQ+ students and students with disabilities. We use the term ‘liberation’ because we believe that working on these issues is about liberation – freedom from the discrimination and oppression people face because of their identities. Terms of office: Academic year 2024-25

Student Council members:
Student Council is the main representative body of the Students’ Union and is made up of students who represent different groups from across the University such as Student Reps and Student Group leaders. Its main function is to be a discussion and debating forum for London Met students to discuss relevant issues and to make policy proposals for the Students' Union. A key function of Student Council members is also to hold to account our executive officers (full-time and part-time officers).
