Hey everyone. It’s Giulia here!
I am 24 and I am a student of Conference Intepreting MA here, at the MET uni. Due to the fact that we cannot go physically to uni, I am trying to getting involve in extra activities as much as I can. I am an international student and I truly believe in this experience abroad. I feel that I want to get the best out of it, no matter what.
I started the Climate Justice Society a few weeks ago with a bunch of friends: I love it. I am really into sustainability. I love speaking Spanish, cooking with my brothers, walking barefoot and lying on the grass. I am a really positive person and I love meeting people and share ideas. I am a scout leader and I am currently working as a nanny.
If I have the chance to work at LondonMET as Guildhall School of Business and Law & Human Sciences Full Time Officer, I will love to do my best to reassure students and guide them towards their studies with as much positivity as possible. We are experiencing hard times and It is normal to feel lost: I always feel lost or alone. I am talking to a PC most of the time, but we need to remember that we cannot let ourselves down. We are never alone.
I will be honored to meet and talk with everyone who will need help or advice. To my mind, it is crucial to represent your view in the best way and to support you in your decisions and projects. LondonMET showed us that the staff is there for us and I think that 2021 will be a new opportunity to START AGAIN. I cannot wait to meet friends, colleagues and instructors in our amazing LondonMET and to be part of this great community!
See you soon!
Giulia
