Dear All,

My name is Chanushka Hegoda. I’m a first-year undergraduate student in the London Met university. As a candidate I’m representing to be elected as a member of student council of the school of Building environment in our campus.

I ensure, that I can do endeavor contribution to view of our university and all the students such as,

01.  Supporting to the course to obtain recognition level. University rank of the building environment and courses must be becoming accredited is one of the aims to support for the course. And it will automatically be benefited to all students in building environment. (Looking forward to obtaining minimum two professional bodies accreditation by September.)

02. Also, I do believe wellbeing is key part of the students’ life. Supporting to nurture for sustainable measures across the campus to achieve excellent level of students’ educational and other enrichment outcomes and their experiences.  Support to all students to feel worth in spending excellent atmosphere to study in London Met and, as well as every single student would be proud to be as a part of London Met community and their own aspiration of achievement.

03.  Supporting and encouraging students to be successful in their difficult time in their learning adventure and providing and preparing for their work base learning and work placement for their career support.

4.  I believe school of Building environment has to become popular through the new school leavers to enroll.

5. I do believe women in Building environment have equal rights for their aspiration.

To deliver my support, I will use my previous skills that I have used to work as different job roles in several workplaces. Also, I would be honored to represent you during the coming year and to be given the opportunity to make a positive impact on your university experience. Also don’t hesitate to give me your opinion to what I can do to improve our university experience and what we need to change for a better outcome.
