My name is Chelsea and I'm studying Education (including foundation year) - BA (Hons), currently in year 2. I am president of First Love Society and my favourite dessert is any cake with custard. My hobbies include dancing, baking banana cake and apple crumble.

I first volunteered with First Love Society during 2021. First Love is a faith based society here on campus for students. We hold weekly meetings where we discuss topics in the Bible. It's fun, especially our singing and dancing events. Being part of this society has helped me interact, meet and be around other like minded people. I like to help out during the different events at uni, especially welcome fairs. I enjoy our meetings and have been able to get involved by inviting others.

I have had the opportunity of liaising with student activities who have been helpful in dealing with queries regarding the society. I have received training through LMSU as well as joining zoom meetings with leaders of other societies. The training helped me to understand more about the SU, GDPR and how to run a society.

To find out more about the First Love Society have a look at our website here.  We meet in room TMG-70 at 6pm every Thursday at the Holloway campus.
