The LMSU Leaders’ Election this year took place from 1st – 4th April. Candidates put huge amounts of efforts into their manifestos and campaigns, and we are so proud of all of them for putting themselves forward for election. Congratulations to our SU-elected winners, and we wish them all the best in their roles!
In the evening of Friday 4th April at our results event, we announced the winners of the LMSU Leaders’ Election 2025.
Full-time Officers:
President: Rajjo Mondol – elected in Round 1 with 826 votes
VP Education: Fahmida Yesmin – elected in Round 1 with 828 votes
VP Equity and Welfare: Sowmitra Paul – elected in Round 3 with 741 votes
VP Activities and Opportunities: Nahid Binta Islam – elected in Round 1 with 732 votes
Part-time Officers:
Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Students' Officer: Basir Samim – elected in Round 1 with 626 votes
Women's Officer: Iffat Ara – elected in Round 1 with 714 votes
Student Council Members:
Elected in Round 1: Ghulam Mustafa, Margarita Damai, Alina Adhikari, Rafsan Hossain Sahel
Elected in Round 2: Md Mynuddin, Abu Tabib Md Ayan, Yosor Hidery, Kevin Yenga
