There are three mandatory roles for all student groups/societies:
President, Secretary and Treasurer, these roles are the leadership roles within each student group/society.
Outline of each role:
President: Leader of the Group, responsible for motivating their team and setting out their vision for the year. The president will get the student group leaders together to make collective decision related to their group/society.
Secretary: Responsible for the communications of the group, and liaising with the Students’ Union to book space for events and activities or committee meetings.
Treasurer: Responsible for keeping track of the finances of the group, alongside bidding for additional funding.
These roles do not need to stick to their titles, nor do they need to be the only committee roles, you can add as many committee members as you will need with a variaty of roles you desire.
