November marks Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM), focused on raising awareness about Islamophobia and how it appears in our society and culture. The aim is to challenge and break down the stereotypes surrounding Islam and Muslims.
We would like to send our support and stand in solidarity with everyone at London Met and in the wider community who is being impacted by the riots and violence across the UK right now. These acts of ignorance and hatred do not reflect the real London, or the real Britain and at LMSU we are committed to standing up for inclusion, equality, diversity and kindness across our whole community.
